FORWARD,
"Our entire data set model of entries on each position of New Covenant we have established as the most essential values contributing to navigating the dynamics of faith toward understanding and applying Biblical New Covenant."

"Navigating the Dynamics of Faith: A Two Column Approach to Understanding and Applying the Biblical New Covenant Freedom from the Mismanagement of Spiritual Life"

In our quest to live a life that pleases God, it's important to understand the subtle progression that often leads us astray. This progression is characterized by our striving to reform ourselves, to work harder in order to earn God's favor, and to become more Christ-like through our own broken efforts. However, this focus on self often leads to frustration, self-dependence, and a sense of contradiction in our beliefs about God, resulting in a negative view of Christ and his sufficiency in our lives. The warning signs of this cycle of fear and striving are when our struggles seem to only reflect poorly on Christ's ability to help us, and when we start to believe that Christ is not enough.

The New Covenant offers a way out of this cycle of spiritual mismanagement by helping us commit our pain, shame, and blame into the hands of Christ. This means letting go of the places of condemnation, fear, judgement, and complaining that often arise as a result of our attempts to advance spiritually through our own efforts and merit. With the keys of power, the New Covenant transforms our perspective and sets us free from these false realities and negative opinions about God.

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are conformed to Christ step by step. We learn to see Christ's presence in the storms and impossible situations of our lives, and to trust in God's power to deliver us from our struggles and setbacks. God speaks to us in the truth of the New Covenant, reminding us that we are not victims, defeated, or trapped. He asks us to give Him our worst case scenarios and to trust in His ability to turn things around in His power, regardless of our stage of growth, the season we are in, or the processes we feel are beyond reach.

God's promise is to present us faultless in Christ's fulfillment, and to qualify us in His position and standing, regardless of our limitations, feelings of inadequacy, or wrong perspectives built on striving. This is achieved as we yield ourselves to His Spirit and follow His leading, walking in agreement with His voice in the Word of God. This results in a consistent, transforming interaction with God, obedience to His voice, and a healthy perspective that brings us into His rest in Christ's completeness.

In light of Christ's completeness, we are able to enter into God's covenant with complete trust, leaving behind any limitations, inadequacy, or wrong perspectives built on striving. We are not defeated by the contentions of our flesh or the limitations of the Law, but are empowered by God's eternal power to live in His presence and to be transformed by His love. The key is to remember that Christ is enough, and that He is able to handle our powerlessness, changing our context and approach to Him in a way that is not based on our own efforts or works.

1. Handling the ministry of Christ with the goals of counsel, spiritual direction under mismanagement of spiritual life.

Q&A
1. Are we saying there are nuances in dynamics of the body of Christ that need structure of counsel?

2. Is that counselor not just a professional aspect of the church, but what about how the individual needs to correlate their own identity in Christ with receiving the correct input so they can also develop a trained discernment of the vision of the church?

3. Aren't the ideas of having a counselor as the only way to function in our completeness in Christ a symptom of being too dependent on external sources for help, but not knowing how to appropriate them in our walk with God?

4. Is the multitude of having 'too much input' a growing dependency establishing misuse, revealing a deeper hinderance, or a sign of always needing accommodation they have let things go so out of control; a person should come to a place of rest in God's worthiness, and be empowered with the keys of power in our faith leading us Christ's true ministry in our heart?

5. Isn't mismanagement of spiritual life for the believer the goal of understanding what Christ has done in His earthly ministry to break our misconceptions about gospel truth and our own struggles with His ability?

6. Are counselors the only benefit reward, or is Christ's fulfillment, and identity through His promises a sufficient starting point?

7. If someone underestimates their own voice in prayer, limits themselves only on performance, self-effort or striving in false reforms, feelings-based faith isolating from God's perfect plan and vision, aren't we seeing Christ's ministry disconnected from an accessible reach, and it would be the mismanagement of leadership creating the gap, instead of creating an approach to restore people back to the frontlines with a true New Covenant approach to counsel?

I. Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

Definition of mismanagement of spiritual life

Explanation of how the topic relates to the counsel of the ministry of Christ

A. Definition of mishandling and misuse of spiritual life

B. Examples of mishandling and misuse of spiritual life
How this can lead to mistrust in leadership, wrong focus, and wrong conclusions

C. The impact of mishandling and misuse of spiritual life on individuals and the church

Definition: Approaching counseling as a human endeavor refers to seeking advice or guidance from human sources rather than relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God.

Citation: "For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." (Matthew 10:20)

Example: A pastor may rely on their own knowledge and experience to counsel members of their congregation, rather than seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A church could misuse counsel from a leadership perspective, and this could have a number of negative consequences for members of the church. Some examples include:

  • Giving unqualified or untrained counselors access to members of the church: This could lead to counselors giving bad advice or not understanding the nuances of a particular situation, which could cause harm or even make things worse.
  • Failing to provide appropriate boundaries or protection for members of the church: This could leave members of the church vulnerable to abuse or manipulation by counselors, which could lead to feelings of betrayal and mistrust.
  • Failing to provide appropriate follow-up or support: If a member of the church receives counsel but is not given the appropriate follow-up or support, they may feel abandoned or unsupported, which could lead to further feelings of brokenness or victimization.
  • Using counsel as a tool for control or manipulation: Some church leaders may use counsel as a way to control or manipulate members of the church, which could lead to feelings of oppression or powerlessness.
  • Failing to provide a constructive outlet for members to share their concerns: If a member of the church does not feel safe or comfortable sharing their concerns with a counselor, they may not receive the help they need, which could lead to further feelings of isolation or hopelessness.
  • Failing to provide appropriate referrals or resources: If a member of the church is dealing with a complex issue that requires specialized help, it is important for the church to provide appropriate referrals or resources.
  • These are just a few examples of how a church could misuse counsel from a leadership perspective. It is important for church leaders to be aware of these potential pitfalls and take steps to prevent them from occurring.

New Covenant Truth: In the New Covenant, we are called to rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God in all aspects of our lives, including counseling and advice-giving.

II. Column 2: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

Topic: Counsel as a divine endeavor

The role of repentance and embracing a New Covenant approach to faith
The benefits of a deeper understanding of one's identity in Christ and the promises of God

Definition: Approaching counseling as a divine endeavor refers to seeking the guidance and wisdom of God through the Holy Spirit in all aspects of counseling and advice-giving.

Citation: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." (John 14:26)

Example: A pastor may rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God to counsel members of their congregation, rather than relying on their own knowledge and experience.

In the New Covenant, the dynamics of the body of Christ require a structure of counsel that is rooted in the guidance and example of Christ. This structure should be based on the individual's identity in Christ and the promises of God, rather than on human behavior or false reforms that are disconnected from the voice of God.

  • Counseling in the church should be seen as an essential ministry of Christ, serving as evidence of His priestly authority and power with God. It should be approached with a heart of compassion and a desire to receive and witness the power of prayer in overcoming challenges and strongholds that may be holding us back. Effective counseling requires tethering our prayers to God's will and following Christ's example, which includes declaring what God calls right and hating what is evil, and going into prayer with a strong fasting habit, anointing, and discernment to crush the plans of the enemy and break down the most impossible strongholds.
  • The idea that a counselor is the only way to function in our completeness in Christ is a symptom of being too dependent on external sources for help, rather than knowing how to appropriate them in our walk with God. It is important for individuals to develop a trained discernment of the vision of the church and to understand the role of counsel in their walk with God.
  • The multitude of input can be a hinderance if it leads to a lack of rest in God's worthiness and an over-dependence on external sources for help. It is important for individuals to be empowered with the keys of power in their faith, leading them to Christ's true ministry in their hearts.
  • The mismanagement of spiritual life for the believer is the goal of understanding what Christ has done in His earthly ministry to break our misconceptions about gospel truth and our own struggles with His ability. This understanding should be based on the promises of God and our identity in Christ, rather than on human behavior or false reforms.
  • Counselors can be a benefit and reward for individuals seeking guidance and support in their spiritual journey, but ultimately, it is Christ's fulfillment and identity through His promises that is the sufficient starting point for understanding and addressing any misconceptions or struggles in our spiritual lives. The goal of understanding what Christ has done in His earthly ministry is to break these misconceptions and empower us with the keys of power in our faith leading us to Christ's true ministry in our hearts. It is important to approach this understanding and growth with a perspective of rest and reliance on God rather than becoming too dependent on external sources for help or becoming overwhelmed by the issues and problems of human nature. By renewing our focus on the promises of God and our identity in Christ, we can find the strength and guidance needed to approach our spiritual lives with a healthy, productive and promise-based mindset.

We like dynamic, assertive, free flowing and organic responses in our outlines. One way we've seen this at work is to ask questions in a first person, third person and conclude on God's perspective:

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • When we underestimate our own voice in prayer, limit ourselves only to performance, self-effort, or strive for false reforms, and base our faith on feelings instead of God's perfect plan and vision, we disconnect ourselves from the fullness of Christ's ministry. This is a mismanagement of spiritual life within certain leadership that creates a gap between us and God, instead of leading us towards a true New Covenant approach to counsel. We, as individuals, must recognize that it is through an understanding of our identity in Christ and a reliance on the guidance of the Holy Spirit that we can access the power of prayer and experience the miraculous. Additionally, leaders in the church have a responsibility to guide and teach others on how to connect with God in a deeper and more meaningful way, rather than promoting a superficial or performance-based approach to faith."

Regarding mismanagement of spiritual life, "the ministry of Christ in counsel,"

What would be some good summary of key points in a cohesive, assertive and broad application approach could we conclude if we needed 6 essential points with an in depth insight overview of our total findings from Point 1?

1. The power of prayer is accessed through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the example of Christ. By relying on the Holy Spirit to superimpose Christ's value and worth upon us and represent us in heavenly places as blameless and under no condemnation of fear, we can initiate prayers that become divine appointments and bring about miraculous power.

2. A healthy perspective and mindset in approaching the counsel of Christ in spiritual life includes understanding our identity in Christ and the promises of God, rather than becoming distracted or frustrated by the issues and problems of human nature or by false reforms that are disconnected from the voice of God.

3. The power of prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit is essential to Christian development and church support, as it allows us to draw upon the proven leadership, provision, and values of those who have a track record in this field. These individuals have followed close promptings from God and have a valid prayer vision that demonstrates His love and life.

4. Real prayer is not about complaining, but rather about seeking the power and strength of God to overcome challenges and strongholds and find healing, restoration, and hope in Christ. It allows us to reflect the honor and good faith of God's testimony in our speech and actions towards others, no matter how undeserving they may seem.

5. Mismanagement of spiritual life can happen when a person underestimates their own voice in prayer, limits themselves only on performance, self-effort or striving in false reforms, feelings-based faith isolating from God's perfect plan and vision. This disconnects Christ's ministry from an accessible reach, and it would be the mismanagement of leadership creating the gap, instead of creating an approach to restore people back to the frontlines with a true New Covenant approach to counsel.

6. The goal of understanding what Christ has done in His earthly ministry is to break our misconceptions about gospel truth and our own struggles with His ability. The New Covenant Truth is that Christ's sufficiency and provision through atoning work on the cross, it would help us view God's vision of the church with a brighter hope. Ultimately, a better relationship with how those promises shape us before God as individuals with a correct identity.

2. Prayer Is A Cry For Greater Passion That Fuels The Fear Of God
                                                                                                     1/18/2023

Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

  • Using prayer as a means to manipulate or control God's power
  • Using prayer as a means to gain personal power or influence
  • Seeing prayer as a duty or obligation, rather than as a heartfelt expression of need and longing
  • Prayer being approached as a routine or a checklist rather than a genuine expression of longing and reverence for God.
  • Using prayer as a way to justify or excuse a lack of passion or fear of God in one's life
  • Passion in prayer based on feelings of constant alarm or obligation to be something we create through our own reforms.

DEFINITION: Prayer that is focused on personal gain or self-fulfillment, rather than a genuine reverence for God and His will. This can manifest in a lack of passion or depth in prayer, and a focus on the self rather than on God. These types of perspectives can lead to a false understanding of the voice of God.

EXAMPLE: From a first person perspective, a "cry for greater passion that fuels the fear of God" in prayer might look like an individual recognizing the need for deeper intimacy and connection with God in their prayer life. This could manifest as a sense of dissatisfaction or restlessness with their current level of understanding and connection with God, and a desire to go deeper in their understanding and relationship with Him. This might involve a willingness to question and examine their own beliefs and practices, and a willingness to let go of anything that is hindering their growth in this area

NEW COVENANT TRUTH: We can see that when prayer is used as a tool for self-fulfillment or for achieving superficial spiritual experiences, it falls short of its intended purpose. A cry for greater passion in prayer, however, helps to keep us focused on the true purpose of prayer: to deepen our relationship with God and to align our hearts and minds with His will. This type of prayer is less likely to be misused or distorted, as it is rooted in a genuine desire to know and serve God.

NEW COVENANT TRUTH
:A true genuine reverence for God isn't living in constant alarm, or obligation to be something apart God from ourselves we create through reforms, reforms in which we craft perspective based on cycles in our own striving before God creating a false impression of the voice of God. A true reverence in prayer is moving in response to an agreement to the heart of God in those stages, rather than being subject or defeated by those impossible situations that call for a deeper pressing enduring faith than what we are used to. Our passion in prayer is deepening our spiritual perception to see a greater need in prayer increasing our longevity approaching God's vision of New Covenant as plan we don't create ourselves in prayer.

Column 2: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

  • Understanding prayer as a means of deepening our relationship with God and growing in our fear of Him
  • Recognizing that prayer is an act of surrender and submission to God's will and purposes
  • Approaching prayer with a sense of humility, recognizing our own brokenness and need for God before His standard
  • This kind of prayer is not simply about getting our needs met
  •  As we deepen our dependence on God through prayer, we are able to gain a fresh perspective on our relationship with Him and move beyond any previous limitations or misconceptions based on standards not founded in reverencing God's presence.
  • A healthy mindset, guided by a genuine passion for the correct perspective of the heart of God can only express itself in our deep reverence for God's ability, power and revelation of Himself to Us.
  • A healthy perspective on prayer is one that recognizes the importance of a genuine passion for the correct perspective of the heart of God and how it changes the way we approach Him through the standard of completeness in Christ and the promise of the New Covenant."

DEFINITION: This type of prayer is characterized by a sense of urgency and a desire to seek God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In this way, prayer becomes a powerful tool for shaping our spiritual lives and helping us to remain grounded in the fear of God, rather than being misused for other focuses.

Citation: James 4:2-3, Matthew 6:7-8

Example: The Psalms are filled with examples of prayer as a cry for God's help and presence in the midst of difficult circumstances

New Covenant Truth: In Christ, we have direct access to God and can approach Him confidently and boldly in prayer (Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:12)

New Covenant Truth: As we seek to deepen our understanding of prayer and to cultivate a greater passion for God, we must be careful to avoid the pitfalls of mismanagement of spiritual life. This includes avoiding a focus on our own abilities and striving in our own strength, and instead relying on the power and promise of the New Covenant to guide us in our prayer and in our walk with God.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to connect with God in a deeper and more meaningful way. When we approach prayer with a genuine passion for seeking a deeper understanding of who God is, and a greater fear of Him, we open ourselves up to a fresh perspective and a deeper level of dependence on Him. This, in turn, allows us to enter into places in our spiritual journey that we may have previously been unable to reach.

Another example could be when we approach prayer with a sense of apathy or indifference, rather than with a genuine desire to connect with God. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves that prayer is a vital part of our spiritual growth and development, and that it is necessary for our spiritual health.

One example of this might be when we find ourselves in a season of spiritual dryness or burnout. We may feel like we have hit a wall and are unable to move forward in our walk with God. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can tap into the power of the New Covenant to renew our focus on the promises of God and our identity in Christ. This can help us to find the strength and guidance needed to approach ministry with a healthy, productive, and promise-based mindset.

Another example might be when we find ourselves caught up in the latest trends or fads in the church. We may be tempted to follow the crowd and neglect the biblical principles that are at the foundation of our faith. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the importance of staying grounded in God's word and being consistent in our communication and actions. This can help us to avoid confusion and bring peace, fostering a healthy and productive environment.

A third example might be when we find ourselves struggling with mixed messages and dichotomies in our spiritual leadership. We may be receiving conflicting advice or guidance, which can create confusion and hinder productivity. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the importance of being consistent in our words and actions and of seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This can help us to build trust and foster a healthy, productive environment.

A fourth example might be when we find ourselves struggling with handling the ministry of Christ with the goals of counsel, spiritual direction under mismanagement of spiritual life. A pastor might rely on their own knowledge and experience to counsel members of their congregation, rather than seeking the active participation of New Covenant witness in the vision of the Church. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the importance of seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of our ministry and of being consistent in our communication and actions.

A fifth example might be when we find ourselves struggling with the fear of God and our sense of worthiness. We may be tempted to approach prayer with a sense of inadequacy and unworthiness, rather than with a genuine desire to connect with God. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the truth that we are worthy and loved by God because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross. We can focus on His sacrifice and the fact that He sees us as holy and blameless through faith in Him. By reminding ourselves of this truth, we can let go of our sense of inadequacy and approach prayer with confidence and boldness.

Another example could be when we find ourselves struggling with distractions and temptations during prayer. We may be tempted to give in to these distractions or to put our prayers on hold until we can find a quiet and distraction-free place. However, when we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the truth that God is always present with us and that He is more than able to help us overcome any distractions or temptations we may be facing.

Additionally, another example could be when we find ourselves struggling with confusion and uncertainty about the will of God for our lives. We may be tempted to approach prayer with a sense of confusion and uncertainty, rather than with a genuine desire to connect with God and hear His voice. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the truth that God is sovereign and that He has a plan for our lives. We can remind ourselves that He is always present to guide and direct us, and that He will reveal His will to us as we seek Him in prayer.

Another example might be when we find ourselves getting bogged down in the details of our prayer requests, rather than focusing on the heart of God. We may become so focused on asking for specific things that we lose sight of the bigger picture of our relationship with God. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves to focus on God's character and will, rather than getting caught up in our own desires.

We find ourselves becoming distracted or discouraged by the problems and difficulties of life. We may begin to feel overwhelmed and discouraged, and may struggle to maintain a sense of hope and faith. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves that God is bigger than our problems and is able to help us find peace and hope in the midst of difficult times.

The importance of silence and stillness in prayer: In our fast-paced and noisy world, it can be difficult to quiet our minds and hearts enough to truly connect with God. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can make a conscious effort to create space for silence and stillness, allowing us to be more fully present in the moment and to hear God's voice more clearly.

Another example might be when we find ourselves becoming complacent in our prayer life.
We may begin to take God for granted, or to think that our prayers aren't really making a difference. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the power and importance of prayer, and be motivated to continue to pray with intensity and urgency.

Lastly, another example could be when we find ourselves struggling with a lack of discipline or motivation in our prayer lives. We may be tempted to approach prayer as an obligation or a chore, rather than as a joy and privilege. When we approach prayer with a cry for greater passion, we can remind ourselves of the truth that prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to connect with God and to experience His presence in a deeper and more meaningful way. We can remind ourselves that it is a privilege to be able to communicate with the Creator of the universe and to know that He hears and answers our prayers.

OVERVIEW:
1. these examples can be seen as clear examples of mismanaging spiritual life through mishandling the dynamics of faith and understanding and applying biblical New Covenant principles.

2. They highlight the importance of approaching prayer with a genuine passion for seeking a deeper understanding of who God is, and a greater fear of Him, in order to avoid superficial effort and burnout, following trends that fail people in the church, and sending mixed messages that can lead to confusion.

3. When we embrace the testimony of the fear of God, it can help us to take our normal stages, seasons, or trials out from under the definition of our ability or capacity, and place them back onto God's power and ability to fulfill His promise in our lives as we rest in Christ's position. This can help us to approach prayer with a deeper sense of dependence on God, rather than relying on our own abilities or efforts.

4. In ministry settings, the examples of greater passion fueling the fear of God can help us to approach our work with a sense of purpose and a clear and focused mindset. This can help us to avoid burnout and to be more productive in our ministry efforts.

Personal development and progression in our spiritual gifts can also be impacted by a greater passion fueling the fear of God in prayer. This can help us to have a more consistent testimony in God's identity in Christ, and to be more effective in using our gifts to serve others.

5. Identifying with key promises that act as supplementation of a provisional voice of God as a witness of the scriptures can create a spiritual provision that helps us to get out of our comfort zones and into true spiritual power. This can help us to be more effective in our spiritual journey and to experience deeper levels of intimacy with God.

"Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to connect with God in a deeper and more meaningful way. A true reverence for God in prayer is not about living in constant alarm or feeling obligated to be something apart from ourselves. It is about responding to the heart of God in all stages of life, rather than being defeated by difficult situations that call for a deeper and more enduring faith.

The more our cry for greater passion is rooted in a deep reverence for God and His holiness, the more it fuels our desire to live in the fear of God.

Reverence for God is essential in this process, as it helps us to see His live in more defined ways and shape us in those times of prayer. This cry for dependence on God allows us to see new perspectives and reach places in our spiritual journey that we have not yet reached. A reverence for God is essential in this process, as it allows us to be more alive in the truth of the New Covenant and witness God's work in shaping us during our time of prayer.

Our goal should be to deepen this cry for a deeper understanding and connection with God, recognizing that entering into prayer and His presence requires a passion founded on who He is and a true fear of God. Through this, we will be able to navigate the dynamics of faith and understanding and applying biblical New Covenant principles, focusing on personal development and progression in our spiritual gifts to have a more consistent testimony in God's identity in Christ and identifying with key promises that act as supplementation of a provisional voice of God as a witness of the scriptures creating a spiritual provision getting us out of our comfort zones and into true spiritual power."

POINT 3:
Learning how to be uplifted and refreshed in complex places where it seems more like a 'demand' than a 'promise' moving forward: Be uplifted and refreshed.

SYNOPSIS: We hand wrote this intro compiling data sets from old notes.

"In pursuing our discussion, we aim to delve into the topic of spiritual renewal with a carefully crafted progression of thought. Our objective is to explore the challenges of spiritual unrest and the detrimental impact of distractions, and ultimately lead individuals to a state of rest and fulfillment in their identity in Christ.

We plan to delve deeply into the concept of renewing spiritual desire in a substantive and meaningful manner, as opposed to merely going through the motions. Unfortunately, there are instances where outward commitments are fervent, but inward devotion is wanting. It is with this in mind that we aim to emphasize the importance of returning to the fundamental principles of the New Covenant and cultivating a more intimate relationship with God that is anchored in a continuous sense of peace and rest.

Our series will be comprehensive and will delve into the dos and don'ts of navigating the complexities of faith, including strategies for overcoming obstacles in spiritual growth, thriving in difficult times, discerning God's voice, and overcoming feelings of lack of progress. Moreover, we will also explore the significance of embracing the liberty of the New Covenant and avoiding the trap of spiritual burdens, to align our desires with the testimony of Christ's sufficiency.

Our aim is to empower individuals to rediscover the simplicity of faith that can uplift and restore during times of renewal. By embracing God's intentional drawing, individuals can move beyond procrastination and into a dynamic flow of confident love, avoiding defeat. Our ultimate goal is to offer a biblical solution to the negative effects of being overwhelmed and burdened, and by opening ourselves to the concepts of the New Covenant, we can resist the temptation to define our desire for effectiveness by failed opportunities and instead find consistency and upliftment in the personal promises of God. Ultimately, our goal is to come back to a simple faith that can restore and rejuvenate us in times of renewal and help us to cultivate a dynamic and vibrant relationship with God."

"We must take care to distinguish between the sources of our beliefs, ensuring that they align with the fulfillment and sufficiency of Christ."

OUTLINE: Learning to be refreshed and uplifted is identifying how unhelpful easy fixes are in the process of getting us dependent on them, rather than approaching them in a constructive manner.

  • Listening to God's voice (is provision in the Spirit of God) in simplicity of New Covenant
  • Caution needed in dynamic of growth
  • Caution is needed in interpreting and experiencing God's voice (Standard of Witness)
  • Provision in the Spirit of God confirming a witness of power beyond yourself
  • Distinguishing between what is of God and other alternate perspectives
  • Confirmation (Need to confirm if something is congruent)of the plan of God through lines of sufficiency with Christ's fulfillment
  • Steps towards application of New Covenant perspective
  • Avoiding spiritual sources that deconstruct and limit capacity
  • Leading towards Christ through passages shared by Him
  • Interaction with the voice of God not meant to be passive or under misleading context
  • Approaching God from either a works-standpoint or a completeness standpoint

"God won't dig the well for you ( a "silver platter" mentality), but He does support us as we take the necessary steps towards maturity. During the waiting period, when it may seem like nothing is working out, it can be a challenging experience for many individuals. However, it is important to remember that we have access to the provisions of the gospel, and these are just as crucial to experiencing God's fullness. It is important to acknowledge that the process is in God's hands and it is through this process that we gain the necessary empowerment to maintain a healthy perspective."

"The more refreshed we are the more equipped become when God moves on our behalf and will respond in an accurate way what to do with it."

Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

1. Focusing on outward commitments without inward devotion

Definition: Prioritizing actions and practices in faith without a genuine heart connection to God.

When individuals appear fervently committed to their faith, but their inward hearts lack genuine                                         devotion. A person becomes consumed by their work, causing them to neglect their spiritual health and leading to feelings of emptiness and disillusionment. A person lacks the inner passion and devotion to sustain it. Distractions refer to external and internal factors that hinder an individual's focus and devotion to God, resulting in spiritual unrest and dissatisfaction.

Citation: "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." (Matthew 6:24)

"Our objective is to explore the challenges of spiritual unrest and the detrimental impact of distractions."

2. Overburdened by religious obligations

Example: A person may attend church regularly, participate in religious activities, and pray regularly, but their heart lacks true passion for their faith. A person becomes overwhelmed by the expectations of religious performance, leading to feelings of inadequacy and a lack of purpose.

Definition:  Feeling weighed down and overwhelmed by religious obligations and responsibilities. Challenges that detract from one's focus on their spiritual growth and hinder the development of a close relationship with God.

The distractions could be daily life stressors, excessive work or leisure activities, or negative influences from others. Feeling like a to-do list of spiritual tasks needs to be accomplished, but not finding joy or fulfillment in them. A person becomes overwhelmed by the expectations of religious performance, leading to feelings of inadequacy and a lack of purpose.

3. Feeling lack of progress in spiritual growth

Definition: The feeling of not making advancements in one's spiritual growth, despite efforts to do so.
Citation: "It is with this in mind that we aim to emphasize the importance of...overcoming feelings of lack of progress."
Example: This can manifest as frustration, discouragement, or a sense of being stuck in one's faith journey; feeling stagnate despite efforts to improve.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 5:1,"Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Example: This might involve simplifying one's devotional routine, letting go of legalistic expectations, and focusing on the essentials of faith. Re-embracing the joy and peace of a simple, authentic faith in God, without the need for external validation or achievement.
New Covenant Truth:
The New Covenant offers freedom, grace, and a deep, intimate relationship with God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. By embracing the principles and promises of this covenant, individuals can find rest, fulfillment, and renewal in their spiritual lives. The New Covenant is a testament to the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice and offers believers the opportunity to live in freedom, empowered by His love and grace. By embracing the teachings and principles of the New Covenant, individuals can experience renewed spiritual passion and vitality.

 3. Discerning God's voice.

"Listening to the voice of God in the simplicity of the New Covenant requires careful consideration, as it can easily become misconstrued in one's spiritual growth journey. It is not based on personal interpretation or intellectual experience, but on the provision of the Holy Spirit, which confirms the power that we are called to walk in for a life of wholeness in Christ. We must be discerning and determine if a decision or perspective aligns with the fulfillment of Christ and the sufficiency of God's plan. If it does, there is a confirmation of the divine plan as demonstrated through the person of Christ. The teachings of Christ on this matter provide guidance and direction in embracing the New Covenant perspective, avoiding limiting beliefs and instead leading towards a closer relationship with Christ. Our interaction with God's voice should not be passive, controlled by a distorted understanding of faith, but rather, it should be approached from a stance of either works or complete reliance on what God is able to do."

Definition: The ability to distinguish God's voice from the noise of the world, leading to a clearer understanding of His will and direction for one's life.

Citation: John 10:27: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

 4. Thriving in difficult times

Definition: The ability to trust in God's sovereignty and provision, even during challenging times, leading to a deeper sense of peace and resilience.

Citation: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Example: A person embraces the truth of God's love and care, even in the face of difficulties, leading to a greater sense of hope and joy.

NEW COVENANT TRUTH:

"Amidst the trials and tribulations of life, the New Covenant offers a beacon of hope and a source of resilience. Rooted in the assurance of God's sovereignty and provision, as evidenced in Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose," individuals who embrace this truth are empowered to navigate the challenges of life with a deeper sense of peace and joy. Through a simple and meaningful relationship with Christ, the distractions, obstacles, and feelings of inadequacy that once threatened to destabilize us, are now overcome, as we rest in the knowledge of God's love and sufficiency. This is the essence of thriving in difficult times, a testament to the transformative power of the New Covenant and the transformative work of God in our lives."

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • "We aim to delve deeper into the many aspects of renewing spiritual desire without making it a superficial effort."
  • "Too often, our outward commitment is vibrant, but our inward devotion is lacking"

  • "We can glean a powerful witness of His Presence to get out of the process of procurement on auto pilot and regenerate in values of confident love to enter into proper dynamic flow, keeping the edge in our presentation from becoming a defeated effort even when it feels we've lost the edge, and our desire fails to materialize in meaningful progression. We learn to fall back into receiving an intentional drawing of His hand on those places in our heart He is tugging on in our distraction. Once again, to come back to a simple faith that can uplift and restore is times of renewal."

  • "Our call to renewal is not an indication that we have strayed or fallen out of favor with Christ. Rather, it is an invitation to return to the foundation of faith in the New Covenant and free our hearts from the frustration and disillusionment that can stem from a lack of progress, growth, or being overwhelmed by the distractions of self-centered pursuits. These distractions can lead to a superficial handling of obligation and a lack of a consistent vision of rest, resulting in our goals becoming reduced to mundane chatter and unbalanced, lackluster pursuits.

  •  "It is crucial to understand that while God may not necessarily take the initiative to fulfill our desires, He does respond to our efforts and provides for us when we take practical steps towards our goals. The waiting period before we see the manifestation of His provision can be challenging, and it is during these times that we must rely on the Gospel for comfort and sustenance. It is imperative that we maintain a healthy perspective, recognizing that the entire process is in God's hands and that our role is to trust and have faith in His ability to empower and sustain us. The maturity and endurance we develop during these trials is just as vital as the provision itself, contributing to our overall growth and fulfillment."
  • The call to refreshment in our relationship with God is an invitation to reconnect with the essence of His purpose and to experience once again the completeness of our connection with Him. While success in the eyes of Christ may not always manifest as immediate triumph or perfection, it is crucial to maintain a flexible and renewed perspective in the growth process. Rather than succumbing to pressure or feeling inadequate due to perceived lack of progress, it is essential to embrace the principles of the New Covenant and adopt a healthy mindset. The objective should not be to strive for a spot-on success story or to feel invalidated by our timing in the growth process, but to allow ourselves the flexibility and room to handle the pressures of life with grace and clarity. By being encouraged in the New Covenant expression, we strive to embody Christ-like qualities, not by overburdening ourselves with unnecessary pressure, but by taking the necessary steps towards maintaining a healthy perspective, knowing that God is making it possible to remain grounded in His provision, without losing touch with our own sanity.
  • "The pursuit of growth in our spiritual lives is not always a 'straight path' to success from a human standpoint as we see everything on the ground, and we may not always achieve immediate, remarkable results. Our perspective of advancement or God's favor should not be met with an expectation of instant success or an unwavering, impeccable reaction to the challenges that come with the journey. Nevertheless, our goal must be a flexible, refreshed mindset that embraces the unfolding process of growth and does not become overly burdened by the pressure to succeed. The standard for our Christ-like expression must not be one of excessive stress, but rather a healthy perspective that acknowledges and trusts in God's provision and guidance, and allows us to maintain our sanity amidst the challenges of growth."

  • *"Success in the eyes of Christ may not always result in immediate triumph or perfection, but it is imperative that we remain flexible and adopt a renewed mindset in the process. Rather than succumbing to the pressure and feeling invalidated by our perceived lack of progress, it is vital to embrace the principles of the New Covenant and maintain a healthy perspective."

Let's start by defining some of the key terms mentioned in the statement:

Success: Achieving a desired goal or outcome, typically characterized by progress, growth, and achievement.

Immediate triumph: A quick and complete victory or success, with little or no delay.

Succumbing to pressure: Allowing stress, anxiety, or other forms of pressure to overcome one's emotional and mental well-being, leading to negative consequences.

Invalidated: Feeling discredited, disrespected, or dismissed, as a result of not measuring up to others' expectations or one's own perceived standards.

Principles of the New Covenant: The teachings and beliefs outlined in the New Testament of the Bible, which describe the relationship between God and humanity through Jesus Christ. This covenant emphasizes grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness, as opposed to the laws and regulations of the Old Covenant.

Performance: The carrying out or execution of a task or role; the quality of the execution of a task or role.

There are several biblical references that support the topics of being refreshed and uplifted in New Covenant perspective. Some of these include:

John 7:37-38, where Jesus says, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

Isaiah 43:19, where God says, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

2 Corinthians 1:3-5, where Paul writes, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ."

Colossians 3:1-3, where Paul writes, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."

Hebrews 12:2, where it says, "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

*Healthy perspective: A balanced and positive outlook on life and one's circumstances, characterized by emotional stability and mental well-being.

Rejecting performance-based worth: Challenging the notion that one's value or significance is based solely on external achievements or outcomes.

Letting go of perfectionism: Abandoning the pursuit of perfection in all areas of life, recognizing that mistakes, failures, and limitations are an inherent part of the human experience.

Embracing grace: Accepting God's unmerited favor and forgiveness, recognizing that one's worth and salvation are based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, not on one's own efforts or accomplishments.

With these definitions in mind, the statement can be understood as follows:
Success in the eyes of Christ is not limited to immediate triumph or perfection, but rather involves a flexible and renewed mindset in the process of growth and development.

Rather than allowing stress and pressure to undermine one's self-worth and mental well-being, it is important to embrace the principles of the New Covenant, which emphasize grace, love, and forgiveness. This might involve challenging the notion that one's worth is based on performance, letting go of perfectionistic tendencies, and embracing God's grace and mercy, even in the face of mistakes, limitations, and setbacks.

The topics of being refreshed and uplifted in New Covenant perspective are founded upon the definitions discussed in these statements. They emphasize the importance of waiting on God, relying on gospel provisions during times of trial, and approaching God with a healthy perspective in order to receive His empowerment and experience His fullness.

POINT 4: COMBATING LONELINESS AND A SPIRIT OF FEAR
2/2/2023, 1:04am to 2:28am Preface revision 2:31pm

The Dynamics of Faith And The Mismanagement Of Loneliness And Fear: Understanding The Importance Of Embracing New Covenant Truth For Thriving Spiritual Life

Preface,
From a new covenant perspective, what we turn to in a desperate time, whether escapism and other dependencies, may not immediately promote who or what we are in times of loneliness, or under pressure from a spirit of fear, but it brings us to a door of hope in which we discover other harmful values are trying to define us in those struggle of self-identification- our response to what God says they are become our testimony to not let them get us down when we see they are detracting us from what God promises to do!

We continue from our previous entry in how it corresponds to a sense of disconnect with our approach to carrying a weight around in regards to performance, validation or prayer life. The weight of loneliness and fear can be overwhelming and have a significant impact on one's overall well-being. When faced with feelings of inadequacy and uncertainty, it's easy to become disheartened and trapped in a vicious cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors. But, the pursuit of success and perfection, as defined by societal standards, can often lead to disappointment and disillusionment. However, through faith in the principles of the New Covenant, one can learn to view success in a new light and overcome these obstacles.

"The warning signs of this cycle of fear and striving are when our struggles seem to only reflect poorly on Christ's ability to help us, and when we start to believe that Christ is not enough."

In Christ, success is not defined by immediate triumph or perfection, but by embracing a flexible and renewed mindset in the face of adversity. This means letting go of perfectionistic tendencies and embracing grace as a fundamental part of one's worth. By doing so, individuals can cultivate a deeper sense of peace, resilience, and fulfillment in their relationship with God. Through faith, they can overcome loneliness and fear, and find meaning and comfort in their perspective with Christ.

"When success seems unattainable and expectations are shattered, it can be tempting to retreat into fear. The trap takes you away from God's calling to stay in the fight where we self-prescribe on various fronts but all of them drive away genuine relationship, leaving us wanting in loneliness."

"The New Covenant offers a way out of this cycle of spiritual mismanagement by helping us commit our pain, shame, and blame into the hands of Christ...that often arise as a result of our attempts to advance spiritually through our own efforts and merit. With the keys of power, the New Covenant transforms our perspective and sets us free from these false realities and negative opinions about God."

However, it is important to remember that these struggles are not indicative of a lack of faith or a failure on our part, but rather a common struggle faced by many individuals seeking to deepen their relationship with God. Through the New Covenant, we can gain a clearer understanding of God's love for us and His complete character, which includes His grace, compassion, and unwavering faithfulness.

By embracing the principles of the New Covenant, we can combat the negative thoughts and behaviors that arise from feelings of loneliness and fear. By focusing on God's complete character, we can renew our perspective and approach life with steadfastness and confidence. "Combating negative self-talk and embracing our identity in Christ is crucial in overcoming feelings of inadequacy and insecurity. By knowing that we are worthy and beloved in God's eyes, we can build our self-confidence and resist the temptation to engage in negative thoughts. However, without the support and encouragement of others, it becomes easier to fall into the trap of destructive thoughts and behaviors. Thus, it is essential to surround ourselves with a community of believers who can uplift and encourage us in our journey of faith."

Furthermore, we must be mindful of not misusing spiritual warfare by fighting battles that God is not calling us to fight. Instead, we must adopt a Christ-like standard of embracing the necessary strides to handle pressure with a healthy perspective, knowing that God is making it possible for us to remain in a realm of sanity, even amidst the trials and tribulations of life.

In conclusion, by embracing the principles of the New Covenant, we can combat the negative thoughts and behaviors that arise from feelings of loneliness and fear, and approach life with steadfastness and confidence, knowing that we are loved and valued by God. We can use this understanding of God's complete character to become a greater witness of His faithfulness, spreading love and compassion to those around us and fostering a sense of connection and community.

Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

Loneliness and Fear as Destructive Forces

Definition: The feelings of loneliness and fear can be overwhelming, leading to feelings of isolation and disconnection from God and others. These negative emotions can perpetuate a cycle of negative thoughts and feelings, These emotions are often associated with feelings of abandonment, insecurity, and desperation.

Citation: Proverbs 18:10 says, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe."
2 Timothy 1:7 "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Example: An individual may experience feelings of loneliness and fear due to a difficult life event, such as the loss of a loved one, a difficult personal relationship, or a traumatic event. They may feel like they are all alone, with no one to turn to for comfort and support.

The Delusions and Separation of Loneliness and Fear

Definition: Loneliness and fear are emotional states that can have a profound impact on an individual's spiritual life and their relationship with God. These emotions can lead to a sense of separation from God and a distorted view of His voice and will. Delusions breaking us from a genuine expression of the voice of God

Example: A person may feel lonely and afraid in a time of crisis, and in their desperation, they may turn to false sources of comfort and guidance, rather than seeking solace in God's presence.

The Temptation of Self-Reliance

Definition: When overwhelmed by feelings of loneliness and fear, it can be tempting to cope by relying solely on personal strength and resources.

Citation: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).

Example:
A person struggling with fear may turn to their own coping mechanisms instead of relying on the peace and comfort of God. Loneliness due to a lack of meaningful relationships and a sense of disconnection from others can lead to a spiraling sense of hopelessness, leading to further isolation and perpetuation of feelings of loneliness. The progression away from God's presence under fear and loneliness can result in a mindset of isolation, avoidance, and separation from the work of God, leading to feelings of unworthiness and hindering spiritual growth. A person who is struggling with fear may turn to their own coping mechanisms rather than relying on the peace and comfort of God. A person may feel lonely due to a lack of meaningful relationships and a sense of disconnection from others. This can lead to a spiraling sense of hopelessness, leading the individual to withdraw and further perpetuate their feelings of loneliness. Our progression relating to God's presence under fear and loneliness makes us carry a mindset we are isolating, refraining and separating from the work God is doing until something in us is made right. A prolonged sense of unworthiness enters the picture for our longing for spiritual advancement but under the enormous pressure of our fears toward the perspective of Christ and His view over us.

"Although it may feel like our fears have the upper hand at times, they are only momentary setbacks. Over time, our fears can become a source of contention with what God has to say about our lives if we feed them with emotions and insecurities rooted in our own identity, rather than in Christ. This can lead to baseless reactions to our perceived pain and feelings of separation from others."

Column 2:Themes and Subjects that Should be Approached with a Healthy Perspective and Mindset

Combating Loneliness and Fear with a Healthy Perspective and Mindset

Definition:
A close relationship with God is the antidote to feelings of loneliness and fear, providing peace, comfort, and security. By relying on God's love, individuals can overcome feelings of loneliness and fear and find renewed hope and joy.

Citation:
1 John 4:18 says, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."

Citation: "And in that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, with the birds of the air, and with the creeping things of the earth. I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them lie down safely. I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy; I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord" (Hosea 2:18-20, New King James Version).

Example: Old Testament example highlighting a New Testament promise of rest over loneliness and fear.

"Here, God is instructing Hosea to tell the woman who he is about to take as his spouse, in a symbolic representation of a covenant relationship. The Lord is promising to establish this covenant relationship with the woman, who is grappling with the hardships of loneliness and fear, by betrothing her to himself.

As God endeavors to reconcile the woman's conflicting beliefs and perspectives, He brings to light the existence of a spiritual battle, a result of the path she has taken in life, which has left her unworthy of a union with the divine. The passage portrays God's plan to reconcile a broken relationship with his people through a covenant relationship, symbolized by the betrothal. The Lord pledges to bring peace and safety and to betroth his people to himself through righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercy, and faithfulness.

The woman in question has previously turned to false gods and empty pursuits, but God promises to bring her back to a relationship with himself, where she will recognize him as her true and faithful Master. Her past pursuits have created a false perception of productivity and a misguided vision for her life, which was a common worldview of the world, but God is challenging her faith and urging her to pursue a covenant relationship with him instead. He says, "There are things I will lay to rest in this battle; there is a place of provision in which all you hold tightly, all that is natural and pressing in life's battles, are going to be brought into the hands of God. But you won't handle your fears by calling Me 'Baal,' I will restore your spiritual hope in Me and you will call me a living and true 'Master' over your life."

We cannot ignore the call of God as he addresses the image that the woman identifies with, which is hindering the progression of this marriage-proposal. This covenant will bring her safety, protection, and peace, helping her to overcome her fears and feelings of loneliness. Through this relationship, she will come to know the Lord and understand her true identity in him. The passage also highlights the existence of a spiritual battle, "I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them lie down safely."

Her past struggles with loneliness and fear have held her back from a deeper relationship with God. God even promises to restore a dwelling in the land of 'Achor', previously known as a "land of disturbance," which he refers to as a "door of Hope" in her life, vs.15. This refers to God's eventual restoration of Israel from spiritual delusion and idolatry, and repositioning them in places of fulfillment. The heart of God is seen in dealing with loneliness and fear to accomplish an unlikely victory in drawing us closer to himself, and as a representation of the New Covenant. God will take away the false identities and mechanisms that the woman mishandled, and says, "For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name," vs.17."

Example: An individual with a close relationship with God may find comfort and peace during difficult times, knowing that they are never alone and that God is always with them. They may find the strength to face their fears and a renewed sense of hope and joy. The New Covenant also offers a sense of security and peace, as well as a deep sense of belonging through faith in Jesus Christ. By experiencing the love of God in a profound and intimate way, individuals can have a powerful shield against loneliness and fear.

True delusion of influences of fear, breaking us in our lives keeps us in a progression of making claims leading to more disturbances in our life that God already considers a door of hope if you will accept His plea for covenant mercy by making Him your definition of rest, comfort and  Him as the one who holds you in His power. Christ has to be enough to defeat a spirit of fear through His sufficiency to be everything He desires to be in your life.

  • Overcoming fear: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7)
  • Finding comfort in God's presence: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake" (Psalm 23:1-3)
  • Trusting in God's sovereignty: "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28)
  • Receiving peace in Christ: "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27)
  • Embracing God's grace: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Our hand written notation has given us our SUMMARY:
"Loneliness and fear can often leave us feeling vulnerable and uncertain, leading us to question our identity in Christ and rely on our own insecurities. However, it is important to recognize that these fears may momentarily shake us, but they do not have the power to keep us down when we firmly anchor ourselves in the truth of who we are in Christ. By embracing this identity and relying on the love and peace that God offers, we can overcome the negative emotions that arise from fear and loneliness, and instead find strength and hope in His presence and promises."

"Fear and its deceptive grip on our lives can lead us down a path of turmoil and unrest, perpetuating a vicious cycle of distress. However, God offers a solution in the form of a covenant relationship with Him, where He can be our source of comfort, rest, and protection. By accepting His mercy and making Him our foundation, we can overcome the spirit of fear and find true peace in the sufficiency of Christ. He is more than capable of being everything we need, and with Him as our anchor, we can triumph over any delusion or influence that threatens to break us."

Getting Creative:

What if we asked ourselves, if the dynamic of our struggle of loneliness from a self-reflection, and then how God views us, how could we develop that?

FIRST PERSON PERSPECTIVE:

"As I was grappling with intense feelings of loneliness and fear, I found myself relying on false gods and empty pursuits to bring me comfort. But then, God promised to betroth me to himself through his attributes of righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercy, and faithfulness. Through this covenant, he promised to bring me back into a loving relationship with him and help me overcome my fears and feelings of loneliness. Through this relationship, I came to truly know the Lord and understand my true identity in him. I realized that my past struggles were preventing me from experiencing a deeper relationship with God. However, with God's grace, he restored a dwelling of hope in my life, helping me overcome my emotional struggles and allowing me to draw closer to his voice."

God's perspective:

I, the Lord, witnessed my beloved child struggling with feelings of loneliness and fear. They had strayed from me and sought comfort in false gods and empty pursuits. But, I did not abandon them. I pledged my betrothal to them through righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercy, and faithfulness. I promised to reunite them with me and empower them to overcome their fears and loneliness. And, through our relationship, they came to know me and recognize their true identity in me. Their past struggles were hindering their relationship with me, but I restored a dwelling of hope in their life, allowing them to overcome their emotional hardships and draw closer to my voice.

POINT 5: Building bridges, Standing in the gap, Filling in every place of void. (WIP)

Revised: 2/7/2023 1am           12/5/2023 12am-4:48am.

            Synopsis:

Forward,
We have to set this one up for you all. We decided to go full literary hand notation here. This is raw. What if you are wondering how to get to another side of gaining perspective in how something works, but the way it is performed or grasped, is on a whole other level that we are not immediately skilled or equipped to handle. If given the chance, maybe our first step begins to cross those places on unstable footing, how would we stand in the gap; how could anyone fill in and resist specially designed forces already at the helm preventing those ideas from becoming a reality in how you reach over to the other side and the need is met, both of your own position, or that of those around you?

Our introduction to our topic today leaps from the heels of our tremendous friends and guests fulling our forums, meeting a deep-felt need long over-due. The Irony of being in the very trenches of making headway on our topics with building bridges, we haven't had time to write by the premise of connecting with people. But yet, we are talking about something people on our platform equally share. We noticed a trend in true spiritual transformation with our promise of new covenant, its unlikely people remain tone deaf of its real power. We are talking about a deep felt surge in the heart, accompanied by an overwhelming urge to weep. It may be that you many of you are being moved by the touch of God for the first time. This can occur as He reaches out to redeem you, drawing you under His powerful administration and lifting the burden you carry as you labor in His fields, or are being integrated in the life of this work for the first time.

When it comes to constructing bridges and filling the voids, one thought immediately comes to mind: reaching out to others, establishing connections, and creating a stable foundation for further progress. Meaning with stability. This can involve offering one's time and extended pressure to a worthy cause, putting our limits to the test, our tools to good use, or approaching it in an unconventional manner to fill a gap that no one else has.

In navigating the dynamics of thriving spiritual life in our faith, and conquering the mismanagement of it seeking to conquer us, what if you seek to comprehend an alternate viewpoint regarding the functioning of something, but the execution or comprehension of it lies on a plane that we are not immediately proficient or capable of handling. If presented with the opportunity, our initial foray into these uncharted territories may be unsteady, but we must persevere and fortify ourselves against the premeditated obstacles that bar us from realizing our objectives and bridging the gap between our current position and the desired outcome, both for ourselves and those around us.

Now the struggle dynamic of stagnation voids of incompleteness (diluting our vibrancy become superficial) in our striving to reach the goal: The struggle to reach our objectives and overcome the sense of incompleteness is a defining characteristic of the journey, but what comes after must be logically consistent and coherent within the context of our subject matter of what makes us complete in Him.

Re-iterating:
The Two Column approach, 'building the bridge aspect,' is what comes next to fortify ourselves and overcome these challenges and obstacles; to develop the necessary skills and resources to confidently and effectively navigate these hurdles. This involves identifying and understanding the underlying forces and motivations behind these barriers and developing the strategies, both internal and external, to overcome them. By continuously learning, growing, and advancing, we can continue to build our resilience and tenacity and ultimately achieve our goals, both for ourselves and for those around us. In order to maintain coherence and logic in the larger context of our discussion, it is important to continually reflect on our progress and reassess our strategies in light of new information, feedback, and challenges. We won't see this happen until we ask for the the courage to lay them down at the feet of Christ.

It's simple. We defined it in our conjecture tonight:  "I will reach out to someone, a connection is made. I do it enough times, it is now a stable bridge I can cross. I know they know the door is open. If it becomes interdisciplinary focuses of extending my time and self to a cause, I'm now extending my advancement in its next stage-I'm building a bridge to further future progress. Although it may seem the desired effect I'm hoping for is not bearing fruit initially, it is within these challenges that the growth in New Covenant truly takes place. But by approaching things in a unique manner that has not been attempted before, I am filling a void and contributing to something far greater and more expansive. To us, it may seem like we are struggling to progress, but from God's perspective, this period of trial and tribulation is merely a test, viewed from an entirely different and enlightened perspective. "The most Christ-like thing you can do, is letting down the guards which keep principle separated from complete power in the presence of God. Because you are identifying with the completeness of Himself to witness what is means to be christ-like. We have no bridge in faith without His unique empowerment- you can't have Christ without the Work being ultimately provided at the place He gave witness to give you access to Him by a complete faith." You can't bridge the gap, find fulfillment or exercise trust if Christ is not complete over every notion of requirement or promise!" You can't fill anything, connect anything, serve anything without our spiritual lives fully dependent on the identity in which His fulfillment is realized as fully complete." We certainly cannot reach past voids of stagnation birthing impulsive mismanagement on our own whims when those voids do not align with His fulness, they serve to put distance of our pain, from the confirmations of what He promises to do! Anything not honoring Christ in the dynamics of faith will simply not produce Christ entirely. We won't be christ-like in a minute way if He is not enough absolutely.

Although the sensations of being in the right place may not be immediately apparent, it is the outcome of a profound and transformative experience. In true encounters with Christ's power, there is no room for fear, only a window to His immeasurable strength and an unwavering trust in His existence. This touch, this embrace, is a chance for redemption, for the freedom from the weight of life's difficulties and the chance to rise again, unburdened and free.

In the New Covenant, it is not just a matter of isolated segments of the body of Christ suffering from a lack of understanding or connection, but of our entire spiritual lives standing before God and being qualified by everything He has promised.
This process involves offering our tears to God and experiencing the fullness of life He offers in return, through genuine encounters with Him that are devoid of fear and filled with the flow of His power. Our commitment to the battle at hand becomes unwavering as we are molded into His image, and our trials and tests become a testimony to His authority, firmly rooted in the Covenant of Christ. Building bridges, standing in the gap and filling in places of void rests upon our discovery here.

We must trust in God's Covenant with Christ and not try to fix our internal struggles and fears, but instead allow Christ to manifest His glory and bring healing to our voids of stagnation. (Stagnating rest is an unproductive concern that builds on error, and un-checked complacency isolating from a true vision of New Covenant power in His fulness causing us in a subtle progression against the voice of God. Rather, we start looking to suffice for our lack of provision on the contentions driving us from the presence of His Spirit on our own ability as an act of protest, unbelief or fear inconsistent with His goodness.)
*key of striving

Building on the right foundation of thriving principles of spiritual life built on the standard of Witness of His perfect image, is what connects us to the function, freedom and power that comes from a unity of these at work in our faith.

The patience He demonstrates in His Covenant with our hearts will inspire confident growth and teach us to hold fast to our confidence until the end. It is important to avoid deviating from gospel witness and to keep our prayers focused on avoiding mass delusion, as this can lead to a suppression of conviction ( false reforms, broken fixes, self-dependency)

1. The New Covenant provides a path to liberation from the vicious cycle of mismanaging our spiritual well-being, by offering an opportunity to surrender our wounds, guilt, and accountability to the loving embrace of Christ. This requires a relinquishment of the shackles of condemnation, fear, judgment, and grievances that often result from our misguided attempts to progress in our spiritual journey through self-reliance and personal merit. The transformative power of the New Covenant alters our viewpoint and frees us from the false beliefs and negative perceptions of God, granting us the keys to a life of spiritual freedom and growth.

2. In the New Covenant, we are called to love one another and serve others in the manner that Christ served us. Building bridges and filling, is not one forcing us to embrace the love of God, but 'voids' in response to God's purpose in our trial, is a manifestation of this love and a demonstration of our faith in action. By fulfilling our call to love our neighbors as ourselves, we are able to grow in our own understanding of God's love for us. Through a deep understanding of our identity in Christ and a commitment to using our unique skills and talents, we can make a positive impact in the world and bring glory to God's name.

3. This approach involves building bridges, working together in unity, and advocating for those in need, characterized by generosity, selflessness, and a willingness to sacrifice personal interests for the greater good. It requires a deep trust in God's sovereignty and guidance, recognizing that every role and responsibility has been appointed by Him for His purposes and that every void can ultimately be filled by His power and grace. With this perspective, individuals can approach their relationships and interactions with others from a place of strength and confidence, standing in the gap and making a positive impact in their communities and the world...More to come as we will complete the two column approach with these data sets.

Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

  • God sees the errors made in people's understanding and representation of Him and themselves.
  • It is easier to stay separated and unhealed than to acknowledge the possibility of repentance and bridging the gap between human defeat and the perfection of Christ.

  • Bridging the gap and filling in emptiness is achieved through understanding and applying a biblical new covenant approach In process.

  • Waking up to one's provision of God's identity and letting go of beliefs that lead to self-defeat and separation from God will lead to being more aware of the bridge drawing towards God.

  • Misapplication and broken understanding of one's relationship with God is a result of unworthiness.

We are going to be looking at the gap of freewill, the separation from God in our spiritual lives is based on the bridge of freewill and personal choice. There has to be a bridge connecting our freewill toward the impossible gap you and I faced when looking at Christ's eternal power. This gap also surfaces our inability to bridge the gap of dependency on our own methods, with the infinite scope of it depending on God's ability to address such a drastic solution.
We have no defense or way to cross in ourselves. "God is not forcing subjection to Him, because that is the first priority problem. Our weakness & failings before His power is seen in our inability to produce anything good on our promises, reforms or moral code in ourselves. God doesn't need you, how then is he forcing you?" In free will, God leaves the bridge of your moral choice open- freewill to bring of those things which we of possess no worthiness- and confidence to stand on your own, into the provisions of Christ in which you did not ask for or could be able to perform in yourself."

Love provides a vibrant, patient manner in the heart of God to draw you into what pleases Him on the admonition of repentance, turning into a life of complete trust: using your freewill to heal self-expectations, with the more carefully inspired ones we fail to achieve.

If God were to force His word upon us, we would not be able to comprehend it. (We couldn't absorb the Word, or process it on our human limitation) The topic of understanding the word will be discussed later. However, if someone misinterprets or misuses scripture in this manner, it is not desirable and goes against the essence of true Christianity. Misrepresenting God, who waited thousands of years to reveal himself in human form- relying now on our own imagination to live for Him is not an accurate reflection of His care and management. This approach would undermine the genuine meaning of Christianity as our reflection onto what we fail to revere.

God sees the beginner folly, and scholarly error to base our worst opinions on the representations of Himself with the representation of ourselves we find powerless, unlike Him, and which serve to prove our unworthy standing in His presence. Its easier to stay separated, broken and unhealed from these areas then to acknowledge the plea of provision of repentance to bridge the gap of our human defeats with the ones of Christ which has seen no imperfection in the service and completion of His own covenant for us. That is Him toward us in bridging the gap and filling in the places of emptiness and void. These are navigating the dynamics of faith understanding and applying a biblical new covenant approach!...When you wake up to the reality of your provision of His identity, and lay down the claims that self-defeat you in the subtle progression of fear and unbelief separating you from who He is, you will also be more awake to the bridge, drawing you to Himself in which you formerly was a foreign concept misapplied and broken on your own unworthiness."

POINT 8  Superficial effort and burnout
12:48 am, 1/7/2023

SYNOPSIS:

In the two column approach, it is important to approach ministry from a perspective of rest and reliance on God, rather than seeing it as a source of stress and frustration. This requires a deep understanding of our identity in Christ and the promises of God, rather than becoming distracted or frustrated by the issues and problems of human nature or by false reforms that are disconnected from the voice of God. By renewing our focus on the promises of God and our identity in Christ, we can find the strength and guidance needed to approach ministry with a healthy, productive, and promise-based mindset.

I. Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

A. Superficial effort and burnout :

  1. Propping Up Programs By Superficial Effort Burn Out

Definition: Putting in a minimal amount of effort on the surface, but not truly investing oneself in the task or goal at hand. This can lead to feelings of exhaustion and disillusionment.

Citation: Matthew 7:21-23, Colossians 3:23

EXAMPLE: A church leader puts on a façade of spiritual fervor (genuine passion and depth in their faith) and commitment, but does not put in the necessary time and effort to truly understand and implement the teachings of the Bible. This can lead to a lack of authenticity and a lack of true growth and progress in the ministry.

  • A Christian who puts on a façade of spiritual maturity, but does not actually engage in deep spiritual practices or seek to grow in their relationship with God. This superficial effort can lead to burnout as the person becomes exhausted trying to maintain the appearance of spiritual vitality, while ignoring their own spiritual needs.
  • The temptation to rely on outward appearances or performance rather than genuine heart change. This can lead to a lack of authenticity and ultimately burnout as we try to maintain an image or standard that is not sustainable.

  • The danger of comparing ourselves to others and trying to keep up with their level of activity or productivity. This can lead to overworking ourselves and eventually burning out as we try to meet unrealistic expectations.

EXAMPLE: One of the dangers of comparing ourselves to others and trying to keep up with their level of activity or productivity is that it can lead to a lack of honesty and candidness. We may be reluctant to admit when we are struggling or in need of help because we feel like we need to maintain a certain image or appearance. We find this can lead to isolation, as we may not want to reach out for support or guidance. It can also be a result of a lack of proper training or being given incorrect information about what ministry or leadership roles are about. All of these factors can contribute to feelings of inadequacy or a lack of self-worth, which can further fuel the desire to maintain an appearance of productivity or success at all costs.
  • The need to recognize and honor our own limitations and boundaries. This may involve setting healthy boundaries with our time and resources, and being proactive in seeking rest and renewal.

  • The importance of finding joy and meaning in our work, rather than just trying to accomplish tasks or achieve goals for the sake of achievement. When our work becomes a source of stress and frustration, it can lead to burnout.

  • The role of community and support in helping us to avoid burnout. It is important to surround ourselves with others who can encourage and support us, rather than trying to do everything on our own.

  • A church that prioritizes numbers and growth over genuine spiritual transformation. This may involve implementing marketing strategies and other tactics to attract people to the church, rather than focusing on helping people grow in their relationship with God. This superficial effort can lead to burnout as the church becomes consumed with maintaining growth, rather than fostering genuine spiritual growth.

New Covenant truth: We are called to put in genuine effort and work towards building God's kingdom, not just going through the motions. This requires a deep investment in our faith and a willingness to put in the time and effort necessary to truly understand and embody the teachings of Christ.

II. Column 2: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

A. Investing oneself fully in the task at hand and avoiding burnout

B. Finding balance and taking care of oneself physically, emotionally, and spiritually

C. Seeking guidance and support from others in order to avoid becoming overwhelmed

            D. Remembering that our worth is not based on our performance or accomplishments, but on the love and grace of God.

NEW COVENANT TRUTH:  It is important to approach this topic with a healthy perspective and mindset, recognizing that we are all unique and have different gifts and abilities.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • Recognizing the importance of renewing our focus on the promises of God and our identity in Christ, rather than becoming distracted or frustrated by the issues and problems of human nature or by false reforms that are disconnected from the voice of God.
  • Understanding the need to recognize and honor our own limitations and boundaries, which may involve setting healthy boundaries with our time and resources, and being proactive in seeking rest and renewal.
  • Finding joy and meaning in our work, rather than just trying to accomplish tasks or achieve goals for the sake of achievement.
  • Recognizing the importance of community and support in helping us to avoid burnout.
  • Prioritizing genuine spiritual transformation over numbers and growth in a church setting.
  • Avoiding the dangers of comparing ourselves to others and trying to keep up with their level of activity or productivity.
  • Recognizing the role of proper training and accurate information about what ministry or leadership roles are about.
  • Recognizing that the promises of God provides us with the strength and guidance needed to approach ministry with a healthy, productive, and promise-based mindset.
  • By addressing these points, Column 2 provides a healthy perspective and guidance for approaching the topic of superficial effort and burnout, and addressing the problem in a promise-based, authentic and sustainable

SUMMARY AND NEW COVENANT TRUTH.

  • Remembering that we are not alone in this journey and seeking support and accountability from others, such as a mentor or a small group.
  • Prioritizing self-care and making time for rest, relaxation, and activities that nourish the soul.
  • Focusing on the promises of God and His faithfulness, rather than our own abilities or the expectations of others.
  • Seeking guidance and wisdom from the Word of God and being open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
  • Being honest about our limitations and seeking help when needed, rather than trying to do everything on our own.
  • Remembering that our identity is found in Christ and not in our performance or productivity.
  • Seeking out opportunities for training and growth to increase our effectiveness in leadership and ministry.

GLOSSARY OF TERMS WE ARE USING TO CLARIFY:

Maintaining an image or appearance: This refers to trying to present a certain image or appearance to others, often for the purpose of gaining acceptance or approval. This can be unsustainable because it requires a constant effort to maintain it, and it can be draining and exhausting.

Burnout: This refers to a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It can be caused by trying to maintain an image or appearance, or by working too hard or for too long without proper rest and recovery.

Void: This refers to an empty space or gap. In the context of leadership, it could refer to a lack or deficiency in the role or responsibilities of a leader.

Focus: This refers to the act of directing one's attention or efforts towards a particular thing. In the context of a church, it could refer to directing its attention and efforts towards Christ and His presence.

Authenticity: This refers to being genuine and true to oneself, rather than pretending to be something or someone else. It is important for a church to strive for authenticity in its connection with Christ and with others.

FOR THE unchurched, limited education.
Maintaining an image or appearance as a standard (trying to present oneself in a certain way to others) can be unsustainable because it requires a constant effort to maintain it. This can lead to burnout (exhaustion due to excessive effort) and a lack of genuine connection with others (authentic and meaningful relationships). It can also create a void in leadership (a gap or lack) because it becomes more focused on maintaining the appearance rather than fulfilling its role and responsibilities (duties and obligations).

If a church is establishing its vision (a clear, specific, and achievable image of what it hopes to be in the future) on an image or appearance rather than on the presence of God (the fact that God is present and active in the world), it may lose its grasp (understanding or control) on its function and purpose (reason for existing). It is important for a church to maintain a focus on Christ's promises to dwell with us through His Spirit in drawing us to Himself through His ability (directing attention or effort towards God's plan for the church) and to desire for authenticity (genuineness and honesty) and genuine connection with Him and with others (authentic and meaningful relationships).

POINT 24 "When Trends Fail People In The Church Fail With Them"
5:00 pm 1/5/2023

I. Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

A. When Trends Fail People In The Church Fail With Them

Definition:
This refers to the idea that when the church follows trends or fads rather than staying grounded in biblical principles, it can lead to failure and disappointment. A trend is a general direction in which something is developing or changing.

Citation: Colossians 2:8, Proverbs 3:5-6

Example:
Many churches today are trying to be "hip" and "relevant" by following the latest trends, but this often leads to a shallow and superficial approach to faith. Instead of following trends, the church should be focused on staying true to the word of God and sharing the gospel in a genuine and authentic way.

Example: Rather than trying to fit in with the latest cultural trends or societal expectations, the church should seek guidance from God and His Word in all areas of life. This includes everything from the way we worship to the way we engage with the culture around us.

II. Column 2: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

A. Building a solid foundation and avoiding reliance on trends

B. Seeking guidance from God and the Word, rather than societal or cultural trends

C. Encouraging individual growth and reliance on Christ, rather than group conformity to trends

D. Embracing change and flexibility, while remaining grounded in the truth of the Gospel.

New Covenant truth: It is important for the church to stay grounded in the truth of the Bible and not be swayed by the latest trends or fads. We must be diligent in seeking the will of God and being obedient to His word, rather than trying to be popular or fashionable.

I. SUB-SECTION: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused
EXPLAINING OUR FIGHT FOR RELAVANCE AND STANDING WHILE MISMANAGING THE CHURCHES' DIGNITY IN BROKEN TRENDS:

A. Human behavior and the desire to be relevant

B. Broken understanding of identity in Christ

C. Striving for success and relevance

II. SUB-SECTION: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

A. Focusing on God's fullness and seeking His guidance

B. Embracing one's identity in Christ and living out of that identity

C. Seeking depth and authenticity in faith, rather than superficiality and conformity to trends

Definition:
Human behavior refers to the actions and responses of individuals, which can be influenced by a variety of factors such as emotions, environment, and personal beliefs.

Citation: Ephesians 4:22-24, Colossians 3:9-10

Example: When leaders prioritize their own ambition and the desire to be relevant over their relationship with God and the truth of the Gospel, they may compromise their message and make decisions that are not in line with God's will. This can lead to a shallow and superficial approach to faith, rather than one that is grounded in authenticity and depth.

NEW COVENANT TRUTH 1: In the New Covenant, we are called to live out of our identity in Christ and seek to be guided by His will and the truth of the Gospel. This means focusing on God's fullness and seeking His guidance in all aspects of our lives, rather than relying on human behavior and the desire to be relevant. When we embrace our identity in Christ and seek depth and authenticity in our faith, we can avoid the pitfalls of superficiality and conformity to trends.
NEW COVENANT TRUTH 2: Scripture declares that false reforms to be culturally acceptable are contrary to the righteousness of God because they serve the ambitions of the leadership through unchecked human behavior living our superficial prospects for acceptance, and their compromised claims. The Bible teaches "Trends come at the expressed warning of losing true lasting righteousness in a true move of God. The Church can't produce Christ under that leadership."

BROKEN UNDERSTANDING OF IDENTITY IN CHRIST: When people have a broken understanding of their identity in Christ, they may turn to trends as a way to find purpose, acceptance, or validation. They may feel pressure to fit in with certain groups or conform to certain standards, rather than confidently and firmly standing in who they are in Christ. This can lead to a shallow and superficial approach to faith, as people are more focused on external appearances and appearances rather than on developing a deep and genuine relationship with God. It can also lead to a lack of authenticity, as people may try to be someone they are not in order to fit in with certain trends or groups. This is why it is so important to have a healthy and accurate understanding of our identity in Christ, as it allows us to confidently stand in who we are and resist the temptation to chase after trends or seek validation from external sources.

Here are a few additional ideas that could be explored in relation to the topic of trends and their impact on faith:

  • The dangers of conformity and the importance of maintaining a unique and authentic identity in Christ, rather than trying to fit in with the latest trends or fads.
  • The dangers of being led astray by false teachings or practices that become popular, and the importance of staying grounded in the Word of God and seeking out biblical truth.
  • The importance of being aware of the influence of societal and cultural pressures on our beliefs and practices, and taking steps to resist those pressures in favor of aligning with God's will.
  • The need to be open to new ideas and approaches, while being discerning and not blindly following every trend or fad that comes along.
  • The role of community and fellowship in helping believers stay grounded in their faith and resist the temptation to follow trends or succumb to pressure to conform. "Approval of others."

POINT 28: "Dichotomies and Mixed Messages Bring Confusion If We Are Not Consistent" using the two column approach: INCLUDES SUBSECTIONS I, II.
 2:30pm, 1/7/2023

I. Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused

Dichotomies and mixed messages

II. Column 2:
Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

Consistency

Definition:
A dichotomy is a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different. Mixed messages refer to conflicting or contradictory statements or actions.

Citation: "For God is not a God of confusion but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Example: A leader who sends mixed messages to their team can create confusion and hinder productivity. For example, if a leader tells their team to be more efficient and make fewer mistakes, but then micromanages every task and criticizes every mistake, the team may feel unsure of what is expected of them and may struggle to meet the conflicting demands.

New Covenant truth: In order to avoid confusion and bring peace, it is important to be consistent in our words and actions. As believers, we should work to be clear and consistent in our communication and to live out the values and principles that we espouse. This can help us to build trust and foster a healthy, productive environment.

In the context of the two column approach and the topic of mismanagement of spiritual life, dichotomies refer to a situation where there are conflicting ideas or beliefs that create confusion or uncertainty. Mixed messages can also contribute to this confusion, as they can give conflicting or ambiguous information.

  1. One example of a dichotomy in the context of spiritual life might be the idea of grace versus works. If a person believes that they must earn their salvation through good deeds, but is also taught that salvation is a gift of grace, this creates a dichotomy that can be confusing and lead to a misunderstanding of the gospel.
  2. Another example of a dichotomy might be the idea of individual responsibility versus corporate responsibility. If a person believes that their own actions and decisions are the most important factor in their spiritual growth, but is also taught that the body of Christ is interconnected and that their own growth is tied to the growth of others, this can create confusion and lead to a lack of understanding of the importance of community in the Christian life.
  3. Literal examples: In a church setting, this could include conflicting messages from different leaders or teachers within the same congregation. Similarly, if a church has multiple programs or initiatives that seem to contradict each other, this can also create confusion.
  4. In terms of New Covenant vision, dichotomies and mixed messages can lead to a lack of clarity about what is expected of us as believers. The New Covenant offers a clear and consistent message about God's love and grace, and about our identity and purpose in Christ. If we allow conflicting messages to muddy this vision, it can be difficult for us to fully embrace and live out the freedom and purpose that is offered to us through the New Covenant.

  5. Figurative examples: Dichotomies and mixed messages can also occur in the way that we personally approach our faith. For example, if we say that we believe in the importance of forgiveness, but we hold grudges or refuse to forgive others, this creates a dichotomy between our beliefs and our actions.

In all of these examples, a lack of consistency in teaching and understanding can lead to confusion and a mismanagement of spiritual life. It is important to seek clarity and consistency in our beliefs and practices in order to avoid these dichotomies and mixed messages.
  • Emphasizing the importance of grace and forgiveness, while also promoting a works-based approach to salvation. This creates a dichotomy between God's grace and our own efforts, and can lead to confusion about how we are saved and how we are expected to live.

  • Promoting individualism and self-reliance, while also emphasizing the importance of community and corporate responsibility. This creates a dichotomy between individual responsibility and the role of the community, and can lead to confusion about how we are expected to relate to others.

  • Emphasizing the importance of faith and trust in God, while also promoting an emphasis on self-sufficiency and self-reliance. This creates a dichotomy between reliance on God and reliance on ourselves, and can lead to confusion about how we are expected to live and make decisions.

  • In contrast, the New Covenant vision promotes a consistent understanding of God's grace and our role as believers. It emphasizes the importance of grace and forgiveness, while also promoting a lifestyle of obedience and service. It values both individual responsibility and the role of the community, and encourages us to rely on God and trust in His provision and guidance.

MISMANAGEMENT OF SPIRITUAL LIFE: DICHOTOMIES AND MIXED MESSAGES:
SUB SECTION I. POINT 29 CONT'D

It is important for leadership to not only communicate a consistent message, but also to present it in a spirit of grace and positivity. If the spirit nature or demeanor of leadership is negative or self-serving, it can overshadow the good message being presented and create confusion and mistrust among those being led. It is important for leadership to be consistent in both their words and their spirit in order to effectively communicate and lead others.

Column 1: Themes and subjects that are often mishandled or misused
Miscommunication and inconsistency in leadership

Negative or self-serving spirit nature or demeanor

Overshadowing of good message by negative spirit or agenda

Confusion and mistrust among those being led

Definition: Dichotomies are a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different. Mixed messages are conflicting or contradictory statements or actions.

Citation: "Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil." (Ephesians 4:25-27)

Example: A leader who says that they value honesty and transparency, but then consistently speaks falsely or withholds important information is sending mixed messages to their followers. This can create confusion and mistrust.

Column 2: Effective communication and leadership

Presenting message in a spirit of grace and positivity

Consistency in words and spirit

Effective communication and leading of others

Definition: Consistency refers to the state of being in agreement or harmony, especially over time. It is the quality of being reliable, dependable, and unchanging.

Citation: "Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person" (Colossians 4:6 NASB).

Example: In order to effectively lead and communicate with others, it is important for leadership to be consistent in their words and actions. This means being reliable and dependable, and not sending mixed messages or behaving in a way that is negative or self-serving. By presenting a message in a spirit of grace and positivity, leadership can create trust and harmony among those being led.

New Covenant Truth:
In the New Covenant, we are called to speak the truth in love and to not let anger consume us. When we are consistent in our words and actions, we can build trust and foster healthy relationships with those around us. As leaders, it is important to be consistent in both our message and our spirit in order to effectively communicate and lead others.

It is possible that anger or aggression in leadership can contribute to mixed messages and dichotomies?

If a leader's emotions or personal agenda are prioritized over the truth of the message they are communicating, it can create confusion and mistrust among those being led. It is important for leadership to be consistent in both their words and actions and to communicate the truth in a spirit of grace and positivity. In order to effectively lead others, it is important to prioritize the truth and the well-being of those being led over personal emotions or agendas. This aligns with the New Covenant truth of leading with humility and selflessness, seeking to serve and uplift others rather than seeking personal gain.

Anger or aggression in leadership on the basis of inconsistent falsehood (Ephesians 4:25)

False spirit of worship (Romans 1:25)

Column 2: Themes and subjects that should be approached with a healthy perspective and mindset

Consistency in both words and spirit

Grace and positivity in communication and leadership

Transparency and honesty in words and actions

Definition: The source of mixed messages refer to conflicting or unclear communication, which can cause confusion and misunderstandings in the body of Christ. From our findings, the source of mixed messages and dichotomies in the church are linked to a false representation of God in worship, false moves of God from delusion in broken inconsistent belief, and false assumptions believing certain aspects of what appears to be an act of God was actually a false power.

LEXICON: 5579. pseudos: a lie; conscious and intentional falsehood. Leading to a presentation of or by an initial spirit of anger over the message of the Gospel. Deeply affecting the messaging and presentation of moves of God in the body of Christ, this can narrate the potential basis for a last days 'pseudos' (a lie or deception).

"When New Covenant reverted into self-serving mixed messages of leadership, people are missing their discernment of what is creating delusion, and false narratives of divine power. CDCS RESEARCH

CITATION: "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6).

CITATION: "Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; (Ephesians 4:25-27)

POINT 29 SUMMARIZATION

It is important to approach the topic of mixed messages and dichotomies with honesty and transparency, as well as a focus on consistency in both words and spirit. This will help to avoid confusion and misunderstandings in the body of Christ, and prevent the spread of false teachings and deceptions fueled by anger or aggression in leadership. In order to maintain a healthy perspective and mindset, it is crucial to rely on the truth of God's Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, rather than falling into the trap of last days lies and deceptions.
